I cannot forget the fire accident that I witnessed last summer. I was sleeping on the roof of my house when suddenly I heard a loud noise. ‘fire! Fire! I woke up with a start and saw a house on fire at some distance. Soon I reached there. Many people were there. Flames were rising high. Smoke was there. Everyone was active. I ran to a telephone booth and telephoned the fire station. Some people were crying and some were running here and there. A man and his wife were weeping. There were cries and there was a lot of noise. Some people were bringing water. They were throwing water on the fire. Some people were throwing sand on the fire. I also threw sand on fire. Then fire-brigade vehicles came and controlled the fire for two hours. We thanked God that no one lost his or her life.
