Once there was a rich man in a village. He had a son. His son fell into bad company. The father advised him many times. But all in vain.
At last, he hit upon a plan. He brought some fine apples. He ordered his son to put the apples into a box. He himself put a rotten apple into the box.
The next day he asked the boy to open the box. The son saw that all the apples were rotten. The father said to his son, “my dear son, one rotten apple has spoiled all the good apples. Do not keep bad company. Your bad friends will spoil you.” The son learned a lesson. He gave up bad company for good.
Moral: Better alone than in bad company OR avoid bad company.
